FAQ

1. How does The Fruit Loop bus work?

The Fruit Loop runs on a continuous loop between the most popular wineries in Geneva and Madison. You can hop on at any stop, ride as long as you want, and hop off wherever you choose. No reservations required — the shuttle keeps moving all day, so there’s always another ride coming.

2. Do I need to book a ride ahead of time?

No. The Fruit Loop is designed to be spontaneous and flexible. Just show up at any stop during operating hours and hop aboard. Day Pass holders can ride the loop unlimited times throughout the day.

3. What if I only want to go to one winery?

You can purchase a Single Ride pass to travel between any two stops. It’s perfect if you’re meeting friends or heading to one specific winery. Day Passes are a better value if you plan to visit multiple locations.

4. What happens if the shuttle is full when it arrives?

If the shuttle reaches capacity, you can board on the next loop. The wait is typically short because the Fruit Loop runs continuously. Day Pass holders are always guaranteed service but may need to wait for the next bus if a specific loop is full.

5. Will I get stranded at a winery at the end of the night?

No. As long as you catch the final loop time listed on the schedule, you’ll be transported back to your starting point. We clearly mark last-run times to make sure every rider can return responsibly.

6. Can I drink alcohol on the shuttle?

ABSOLUTELY NOT! No open containers are allowed on the bus. You’re welcome to enjoy tastings and drinks at each winery, but all beverages must be finished before boarding.

7. Do you allow groups or private parties?

Yes, groups are welcome. If you have a large group (6+), we recommend starting early in the day so everyone can board together, depending on bus capacity. Private charters are not offered — The Fruit Loop is a hop-on, hop-off service only.

8. What wineries are included on the route?

Our final list of participating wineries is currently being confirmed. We’ll update this section as soon as the official route is finalized.

9. How much does it cost?

  • Day Pass: $35 Unlimited rides all day

  • Single Ride: $8 One ride between any two stops

Pricing will be posted on the website and updated seasonally.

10. Do you run in bad weather?

Yes — most loops run rain or shine. Severe weather or unsafe road conditions may cause delays or temporary shutdowns, and updates will be posted immediately on our website and social media.
